IBCLC Lactation Consultant, Certificated Lactation Educator, Accredited LLL Leader
Help is available for many breastfeeding issues such as low milk supply, sore nipples, pumping, returning to work, relactation, latch problems, tongue-tie, and engorgement. I will work to provide you with professional service, personalized to your unique situation.
Lactation help can provide many benefits for both parents and babies. Breastfeeding can help build your baby’s immune system and offers the perfect nutrition. Infants who are breastfed have reduced risks of asthma, obesity, type 1 diabetes, severe lower respiratory disease, acute otitis media (ear infections), sudden infant death syndrome (SIDS), gastrointestinal infections (diarrhea/vomiting), and necrotizing enterocolitis (NEC) for preterm infants. Breastfeeding can also help lower a mother’s risk of high blood pressure, type 2 diabetes, ovarian cancer, and breast cancer. There are many nutritional, physical and emotional benefits to breastfeeding for you and your baby.
